SENDAI, Japan - A fire broke out at Nippon Oil Corp.'s refinery in Sendai in northeastern Japan, but it was extinguished about two hours later. Firefighters said the fire occurred in oil desulfurization equipment, which is away from oil tanks. No one was injured.
